Monica Massey
Monica Massey, from Apple Springs, has been a Texan all her life. As a young teen, Monica’s family began attending a small Church of Christ and that is where she first met Jesus. At the age of 16, Monica attended a revival service with Evangelist Steve Hill at an Assembly of God church. This encounter changed the direction of Monica’s life and set her on a path of knowing the presence of the Holy Spirit.
Monica is an Ordained minister with the Assemblies of God and has been at Corrigan First Assembly since 2004. She enjoys spending time with her family. She loves attending her nephew’s baseball games and cheering him on. She also loves family traditions and being able to gather with family during the holidays.
Monica lives her life by Philippians 3:12-14, “Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”
